Cavity Stop Sock

ARC Cavity Stop Socks and TCBs have been designed to restrict the spread of smoke and flames within external masonry walls, and to further minimise the effect of flanking noise pollution at wall junctions. They are produced from low resin, non-combustible rockfibre mineral wool and sleeved in polythene for on-site protection.

TCB

ARC TCBs have been designed to restrict the spread of smoke and flames within external timber frame walls, and to further minimise the effect of flanking noise pollution at wall junctions. They are produced from low resin, non-combustible rockfibre mineral wool and sleeved in polythene for on-site protection.

Party Wall DPC

The ARC Fire and Acoustic Party Wall DPC is manufactured from lengths of rockfibre mineral wool bonded to a polyethylene DPC. It is designed to enable the closing of an external cavity both vertically at the junction with a party wall and horizontally at separating floor levels, where building regulations require the use of a mineral wool closer for acoustic insulation purposes. The ARC Party Wall DPC also restricts the spread of flames along the cavity with a four hour fire integrity as tested by Warrington Fire Research.

T-Barrier® for Masonry Construction

The ARC T-Barrier® achieves a zero U-value at the party wall junction by sealing the party wall cavity. This minimises the effect of thermal bypass as well as reducing flanking noise in the cavity. The ARC T-Barrier provides a 4 hour fire integrity at the party wall junction and meets the Robust Detail's requirement for a barrier where a separating party wall meets an external cavity wall, significantly reducing sound transmission along the cavity.

T-Barrier® for Metal Frame

The ARC Metal Frame T-Barrier® System has been designed to provide a fire rating at the party wall junction within a metal frame construction. The 3-piece system fits in conjunction with the 'C' sections at the party wall detail and provides a 4 hour fire rating on both integrity and insulation on cavity sizes up to 150mm.

Spandrel Barrier

ARC Spandrel Barrier seals the top of the party wall cavity, allowing a zero U-value to be achieved when used in conjunction with ARC T-Barrier vertically. Spandrel Barrier is compressed between the top of the party wall blockwork and underside of the spandrel panel, creating a fire and thermal break.

U-Barrier

ARC Spandrel Barrier seals the top of the party wall cavity, allowing a zero U-value to be achieved when used in conjunction with ARC T-Barrier vertically. Spandrel Barrier is compressed between the top of the party wall blockwork and underside of the spandrel panel, creating a fire and thermal break.

Eco-Closer

The ARC Eco-Closer is designed to close off the cavity around window and door reveals without the need for a return block and where a fire rating of up to one hour is required. It prevents cold bridging and eliminates moisture, mould and staining from around windows and doors. The 2.4m lengths are manufactured from a rigid PVCu profile that is insulated with non-combustible rockfibre mineral wool which provides fire, thermal and acoustic properties as well as being ODP and GWP zero rated.

Eco-Closer Plus

The ARC Eco-Closer Plus is designed to close off the cavity around window and door reveals where larger cavity widths exist, up to 300mm. It prevents cold bridging and eliminates moisture, mould and staining from around windows and doors. The 2.4m lengths are manufactured from a rigid PVCu profile that is insulated with non-combustible rockfibre mineral wool which provides fire, thermal and acoustic properties as well as being ODP and GWP zero rated.

Fire Stop Slab

The ARC Fire Stop Slab can be used to provide a fire barrier in masonry wall cavities as well as at the edge of a concrete floor slab. It is manufactured from high density foil faced rockfibre mineral wool. Two versions are available; one with a rebated jointing system providing a three hour fire integrity and one with square edges for butt jointing and providing a two hour fire integrity.

Fire Stop Strip

The ARC Fire Stop Strip prevents the passage of smoke and flames through narrow voids in buildings. Manufactured from high density rockfibre mineral wool, it is held in place by compression. Possible applications include: top of masonry wall under soffit, above partitions, expansion joints in masonry walls, voids within metal cladding systems, or between ceilings and walls.

Rockfibre Insulated DPC

The ARC Rockfibre Insulated DPC has been developed to close off cavities around window and door openings where a fire rating is required and is intended to be used in conjunction with a return block. As well as excellent fire properties, the ARC Rockfibre Insulated DPC will help to prevent cold bridging around openings.

Curtain Wall Barrier

The ARC Curtain Wall Barrier has been designed to provide a 3 hour smoke and fire barrier where curtain wall cladding systems are used. It seals the gap between compartment floors or walls and the external curtain wall. Manufactured from mineral wool with reinforced Class 'O' aluminium foil facing to both sides, providing an excellent resistance to smoke.

Rainscreen Barrier

The ARC Rainscreen Barrier has been designed to provide a two hour fire rating where a ventilated space is required in the construction, ideal for use behind a rainscreen cladding system. As the barrier is heated, intumescent expands to fill the air space and provide an effective fire and smoke barrier.
