Pallet Collection Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the used pallet collection scheme (“Scheme”) provided by ARC Building Solutions (“ARC”). By participating in the Scheme, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before participating in the Scheme.

1. Eligibility:

1.1 The Scheme is available to companies within the UK and Ireland (“Participants”) who wish to dispose of used pallets (“Pallets”) in accordance with these Terms.

1.2 ARC reserves the right to refuse any collection request.

1.3 Participants must provide seven (7) days’ notice to ARC before arranging for the collection of Pallets.

1.4 Pallets must be in good condition, free from significant damage or contamination, and comply with the dimensions of 1.2 metres by 1.1 metres, or 1.2 metres by 1.2 metres (“Pallets”).

1.5 The minimum quantity of Pallets eligible for collection under the Scheme is fifteen (15) Pallets.

1.6 Only Pallets supplied by ARC are eligible for collection under the Scheme.

2. Collection Process:

2.1 Participants must contact ARC customer support team via the online contact form or on (+44) 0113 252 9428 to schedule a collection of Pallets.

2.2 ARC reserves the right to assess the condition of Pallets upon collection. Pallets that do not meet the criteria outlined in Section 1.4 may be rejected at ARC’s discretion.

2.3 ARC shall not be liable for any loss or damage to Pallets that occurs during the collection process, except where such loss or damage arises from the negligence or wilful misconduct of ARC.

3. Ownership and Title:

3.1 Upon collection of the Pallets by ARC, ownership and title of the Pallets shall transfer to ARC.

3.2 Participants represent and warrant that they have the right to transfer ownership and title of the Pallets to ARC and that the Pallets are free from any liens, encumbrances, or claims of third parties.

4. Disposal:

4.1 ARC shall be responsible for the disposal of the collected Pallets in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

4.2 ARC may, at its discretion, recycle, repair, reuse or resell the collected Pallets.

5. Liability:

5.1 ARC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the Scheme, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, or loss of data.

5.2 ARC’s total liability under these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Participant to ARC under the Scheme.

6. Amendments:

6.1 ARC reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time by providing notice to Participants. Continued participation in the Scheme after such amendments shall constitute acceptance of the amended Terms.

7. Governing Law:

7.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of UK and Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By participating in the Scheme, Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
