George Danzey-Smith is ARC Building Solutions’ Chief Product Officer, responsible for leading the company’s product strategy, innovation roadmap and marketing function. Having joined ARC in 2008, the same year the business was established, George has helped shape the company into one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of fire safety and insulation solutions.

Bringing together product development, customer insight and technical expertise, George helps ensure ARC’s innovation strategy remains focused on solving real-world challenges. Having witnessed the business’s growth from its earliest days, he remains passionate about the values that helped establish ARC’s reputation, particularly its commitment to innovation, customer support and doing the right thing.

With long-standing industry experience and a deep understanding of product performance and compliance, George has a strong perspective on the regulatory, technical and practical challenges facing the construction sector. His focus is on ensuring ARC continues to develop solutions that respond to evolving customer and market needs.

George is particularly passionate about bridging the gap between innovation and on-site reality. As he explains: “Our capability goes way beyond product innovation.
