Creating opportunities for people to develop and progress has been a consistent theme throughout Tanya Traill’s HR career. At ARC Building Solutions, she leads the people strategy that supports the company’s continued growth, working closely with colleagues across the business to develop talent, build skills and create opportunities for progression.

Since joining ARC in 2020, Tanya has helped shape an evolving workforce that reflects the ambitions of a growing business. Her role spans everything from recruitment and workforce planning to learning and development, ensuring ARC continues to attract, retain and develop the skills needed for the future. She believes effective HR goes beyond policies and processes, supporting the needs of the business while creating an environment where people feel able to develop and progress.

Learning and development remain a particular passion. As Tanya explains: “Upskilling is such an important part of the ARC story and we have a strong emphasis on people development and skills improvement.” Creating opportunities for progression is central to that philosophy, with a focus on helping every colleague realise their potential and build a rewarding career within the business.
