Andy Yates

Manufacturing has been at the heart of Andy Yates’ career for almost two decades. Having held senior leadership roles across a number of global organisations, he joined ARC Building Solutions with a passion for building high-performing operations and creating environments where people can succeed.

Today, Andy leads ARC’s manufacturing and operational functions, drawing on extensive experience gained across complex manufacturing environments. Beginning his career as a graduate trainee with Cadbury, he progressed through shift management and capital project delivery roles before moving into operational leadership following the company’s acquisition by Mondelēz. He later spent five years leading Klöckner Pentaplast’s food tray manufacturing sites across the UK and Australia, guiding teams through technological innovation and major product transitions.

At ARC, Andy focuses on developing operational strategies that support sustainable growth, continuous improvement and long-term business success. Collaboration is central to his leadership approach, and he believes strong teams are the foundation of successful manufacturing operations.

That focus is underpinned by a strong sense of purpose. As Andy explains: “ARC has an important role to play in manufacturing products that help keep families safe.” That responsibility continues to drive his focus on enhancing operational performance, investing in people and ensuring the business is well positioned for the future.
