At the Research, Innovation, Sustainability and Enterprise (RISE) Awards on Thursday 14th September, ARC were successful for the third year running in securing an award. In the new category of Fire and Safety, ARC’s innovative entry of ‘Fire Stopping and Effective Edge Sealing at the Party Wall and Eaves’ scooped the award ahead of fierce competition. Organised by the Leeds Sustainability Institute, in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University, the RISE Awards have been devised to recognise the bringing together of academic, industry, third sector and community groups in a unique celebration of all those who are helping to change the way we build for the future.
Professor Chris Gorse, on behalf of the judges commented;
“ARC’s innovative approaches and detailing of solutions for junctions are recognised for being ahead of the game. In the light of recent events, it is good to see that ARC have invested in research and development with products that provide practical and safe solutions. An outstanding contribution at a time of need”
