We have been recognised for Innovation and Fire Safety in national awards recognising best practice in the industry. We have been named the RISE 2022 Fire and Safety winner and come High Commended in the Design, Innovation and Creativity Award.
The awards, run through Leeds Beckett University, seek to recognise, celebrate, and showcase exemplar case studies from the built environment to share best practice in Research, Innovation, Sustainability and Enterprise.
ARC Open State Cavity Barrier (OSCB), which is specifically designed to stop the spread of fire in ventilated cavities, was singled out for the Fire and Safety Award, after being developed in response to market demand to deliver a robust fire-stopping solution.
Our innovative product labelling system came highly commended in the Design, Innovation and Creativity category.
ARC are one of the first in the UK to link QR codes directly to our own installation videos and not a third-party app, helping to improve the accessibility of information for products.
Neil Weeks, Managing Director at ARC, said: “Our team is continually innovating and developing market-leading building materials. We work with industry leaders to create products and solutions which solve real-world on-site challenges, and it is great to have our hard work recognised.
“Industry-leading initiatives such as our QR code labelling system are making a real difference on-site, and it is important that as an industry we continue to innovate and lead the creation of building materials for safer more sustainable homes and buildings.”
