At the 20th Anniversary Construction News Awards last night, ARC Building Solutions were shortlisted in the category of Commercial Innovation of the Year. ARC T-Barrier® was shortlisted against A-one+, Asset International, C-Probe Systems, Miller UK & Hewden Stuart, Nationwide Platforms, SGN, Tarmac, VPS Site Security and Costain. All finalists had to make one-to-one presentations to a panel of judges to present their ideas and why their ‘Commercial Innovation’ should win. ARC T-Barrier, which has already successfully gained a Housebuilder Product Award (Best Building Fabric Product) and CEYH Constructing Excellence Award (Innovation), and will now compete further in the Housebuilder Awards and National Constructing Excellence Awards, both being held in November.
Andrew Danzey, Director at ARC said ‘The judging process was very thorough, but being able to make a presentation to fellow industry professionals allowed us to explain why the simplicity of the ARC T-Barrier works. The collaborative testing we have done has allowed us to prove why it performs better than alternative products, and has enabled us to successfully present it to several large housebuilders who have included it in their specifications. We are delighted that it has received the recognition it deserves.’
