“I remember when I first joined ARC, there were five office staff and probably less than 20 people across the whole business. We’ve come a long way since then. In my nine years here, I’ve worked across many different departments and overseen various functions, but I’ve found where I belong as SHEQ Coordinator. Every day is different, it’s a fast-paced environment and there’s always an array of different undertakings going on. Over the last couple of years, we’ve delivered some huge projects and made significant improvements across the board. Everyone can be proud of that. The hard work has really paid off. We’ve made huge steps forward, particularly with health and safety and with our e-learning platform now live, there’s no applying the brakes.”
“We’re a tight-knit team, and there is a real togetherness. It sets us apart. Even as we have grown and the team has grown, we have kept sight of where we were, which really comes through in our culture. There’s camaraderie, and people look out for each other; everyone wants ARC to succeed, and you feel that every day. It’s a place where you want to come to work, and that goes a long way.”
“I owe a lot to ARC, and the people here, some of whom I’ve known a long time now. Clair Richardson, for example, I’ve known since my first day, and she’s like a big sister to me now. Don’t get me wrong, she has high demands of me, but I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. In nine years, a lot has changed, but I love it here, and, to be honest, I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.”
