The barrier is manufactured from rockfibre mineral wool, with a reinforced foil faced barrier. Is this product fire rated?
ARC Soffit Slab has been fire tested in accordance with the principles given in EN1366-4, achieving 90 minutes fire integrity and 15 minutes insulation within a masonry construction. Real world performance may be affected by the fire performance of supporting and abutting elements, for example a PVC soffit.
How can I fix ARC Soffit Slab in place?
ARC Soffit Slab is designed to be push fitted to fill the void within the soffit. The slab must fully fill the soffit at the party wall junction and should be fixed into place. Please read the datasheet for full installation guidance.
